WHY THE COVER MATTERS

A professional cover image has an unusual job: it must communicate quickly, survive different screen sizes, avoid competing with profile identity elements, and still look intentional when the surrounding interface changes.

Bannerator focuses on that specific problem. Instead of treating the cover as an isolated rectangle, the editor keeps the production-size canvas beside a simulated profile preview so you can judge placement in context before exporting.

Read the practical safe-zone guide →

01

Your banner is always-on media space.

You already own the space. There is no media buy, no campaign setup and no extra post required. Use it to reinforce what you do, what you are building, what changed, or what you want people to notice now.

02

It does not have to stay the same for a year.

New job. Promotion. Product launch. Conference talk. Hiring. New service. A release date. A temporary call to action. Your banner can behave like a lightweight billboard for whatever is current.

THE PART EVERYONE KNOWS

The idea takes minutes. Getting the pixels right can take an hour.

Design→Export→Upload→Notice the crop→Move everything→Export again

Profile photos cover part of the image. Desktop and mobile do not present the cover exactly the same way. Company pages use a different format. A headline that looked centered in an image editor can suddenly feel wrong once it is sitting inside the real profile layout.

Bannerator moves that loop into the browser. Build the cover, inspect the safe areas, preview the result in simulated desktop and mobile profile layouts, change it, and export again without rebuilding the whole composition from scratch.

BANNERATOR, PIECE BY PIECE

How the workspace works.

Bannerator is intentionally small: one browser workspace, a production-size canvas and the controls needed to build, test and export a professional cover.

FORMAT

Personal or Company Page

Switch between a 1584 × 396 personal cover and a 1512 × 256 Company Page cover. The canvas and preview update to the selected format.

BACKGROUND

Start with structure, not a blank file

Use a monogram pattern, a multi-stop gradient, an uploaded image, or a self-contained HTML/CSS visual. Background position, zoom and rotation stay editable.

OBJECTS

Add text and images independently

Text and image objects sit above the background. Select an object to expose only the controls relevant to it, then move, resize, rotate, duplicate or delete it.

TEXT

Typography stays editable

Rewrite copy, change font and size, choose solid or gradient fills, adjust opacity, and control the object's exact X, Y, width and height.

GUIDES

Design around the parts that get covered

Keep guides on while composing to avoid placing important information where profile identity elements are likely to compete with the banner.

DEVICE PREVIEW

Check the banner before the network does

Preview the same canvas inside desktop-browser and mobile-app simulations. The goal is not a screenshot of a social network; it is a fast visibility check before upload.

SAVE PROJECT

Keep an editable source

Export the project as JSON and import it later. Your banner does not have to become a one-off PNG that can never be changed again.

DOWNLOAD PNG

Export at production dimensions

When the composition is ready, export a PNG at the currently selected banner resolution.

HTML / CSS BACKGROUNDS

Your AI can design for Bannerator too.

Bannerator accepts self-contained HTML and CSS as a visual source. That means an AI assistant can generate a composition — typography, SVG, grids, gradients, shapes, glows or other browser-native visuals — and you can paste the result into the HTML / CSS background editor.

Scripts, iframes and external resources are removed before the visual is rendered. Data-URL images are supported, which keeps projects portable. The important part is simple: the generated code becomes another editable way to create the banner, not another image file you have to rebuild.

Ask AI → generate self-contained HTML/CSS → paste → preview → export
BANNERATOR CODE GENERATORS

Sometimes you do not even need to write the prompt.

We are adding focused generators that create Bannerator-ready HTML/CSS for common jobs. They live here because they solve one small composition problem well, then hand the result back to the main editor.

The first one is a Personal Brand Signature Generator: create a transparent identity overlay with your name, role, short statement and optional logo. Change jobs, announce a promotion, launch something new, or simply refresh the way your profile introduces you. See what the generator produces →

  5. Finish the background and preview.Use Bannerator's background colors and device preview, then export the final PNG.
